Some good experiences

I complain too much. Bitch, bitch, bitch. I can let myself become indignant about poor customer service and crappy products and overlook the really good experiences when they come along. But they are out there as well. Two examples: Around Providence, there are plenty of places where one can purchase the Sunday New York Times. However, nothing is as enjoyable as purchasing one from the man who sells papers at the corner of Elmgrove and Lloyd Ave each Sunday. Always friendly, always happy to see you. A delight to deal with, and just buying a paper from him is an experience that brightens your entire day. Example number two; Farmstead, the cheese shop in Wayland Square. Run by helpful, knowledgeable young guys who go out of their way to show you what’s what. Pay them a visit if you are in the area.
