Clearly, not Kansas.

This is The Temple of Dawn.  Just one of the sights I will be seeing as of Wednesday as I begin a visit to lovely Bangkok, Thailand.  After a very long flight (two long flights, actually) I will arrive there to help with the installation of a software project for one of my clients.

This will be my first trip to Asia, and I am really looking forward to it.  I hope there is something fun to do at night in that town. I know…perhaps they have a bowling alley!

More from Bangkok once I get settled in and have a chance to check out the town a bit.

I only wish I were taller.

So here I am with the Blue Monster in Newport.  I absolutely love this bike, aside from the fact that it is way too high for me and I need slide one ass cheek completely off the seat to get a foot on the ground when I come to a stop.

A lowered seat is on the way from a dealer in Chicago, and that should make it much easier for a little Barney Rubble guy like me to deal with this beast.

And with these great big aluminum cases, I can supplement my regular job by delivering milk.

The last thing I need

My newest bikeThere I was on Tuesday, visiting MAX BMW in New Hampshire with my friend Mike who was having his new R1200GSA serviced, when I was told about a mint-condition 2004 R1150GS that was on its way in on trade.  I have been lusting after these for a while, and after a bit of hand-wringing I decided to get it.

I am scheduled to ride this little beauty home Saturday morning.

But he loves God, and isn’t that what really counts?

According to almost any national poll, most Americans are more likely to vote for this man than they would for an athiest.
